Blogging has emerged as one of the best marketing t
ools on the web. Some of the most popular blogs are company blogs that utilize their reach to promote their products and business. From the ease of creating to the convenience of interacting and engaging with potential customers and clients, blogging has given a new way for the marketers to do what they do - promote! Today there are some hundred thousand blogs created every day, most of them are abandoned, but some succeed. If you know how to maximize marketing opportunities through your blog, it can be one of the best marketing tools you have in your social media tool box. Here are 5 benefits a blog can give your business:
Your Blog Is Your Press
Having a press release is exciting, but it can cost you thousands of dollars. Why not use your blog as your press. How do you think most popular bloggers market their product when they launch a new e-book or a newsletter? They use their own blog to make it public and they do this because they know their blog has the most qualified leads for their products. A social media press release is also an effective way to incorporate social mediums into a traditional press release. (More about the social media press release in a later post.)

The definition of a keyword by SEOBook is:
"A word or phrase which implies a certain mindset or demand that targeted prospects are likely to search for.

Whether you’re launching a new brand from scratch, or trying to bring one back from the dead, there are some make-or-break steps that have to be taken, and then maintained, if you expect to be successful.
The problem is, most of those steps either fall outside most CEOs’ comfort zones, require a commitment to real change at the corporate culture level, or are just downright painful.
As a result, most companies opt for the easy way out. They update the logo, get a new tagline, run some new ads, and then tell themselves that they have a new brand.

My first job in advertising - I remember it well. Ok, so maybe not, but I do remember pieces. I recall cutting amberlyth for hours. Talk about archaic, this stuff could kill brain cells just by a mere glance. Amberlyth is a two-ply plastic film which has a thin amber film applied to a thicker clear film.
This stuff was hard to work with and required a steady hand. A hand which had already lost tips of fingers due to the process of cutting amberlyth.
Yeah, it took boundless effort and seemed fruitless at times, but hey, I was an ARTISTE. I was an artist to the core. I made stuff. I made stuff with my hands. I made ads, brochures, logos, books, on and on and on. I thought I was really good, but I wasn’t; I actually sucked.

Trust me. I've been there too. Not so long ago was I looking at everyone's tweets trying to interpret the different symbols. It looks like a different language, doesn't it? Well the one thing that you'll need if you decide to dive into the Twitter playing field: Be patient. It is going to be like reading Greek at first, but you just have to stay with it and before you know it you'll be tweeting with the best of them.
